Computer Training

Staff Development provides a variety of ways for employees to learn the computer software skills required to do their job:

Coaching, Tutoring, and Troubleshooting
  • Do you have a work project that requires knowing a particular tool in a software application?
  • Are you having trouble with a particular tool in a sofware application?
  • Do you need to plan how to track and report on specific data?
  • Do you question what software application might be best suited to meet your business needs?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then coaching, tutoring or troubleshooting might be just what you need.

A knowledgeable coach will work with you to:

  • plan your software project
  • teach you how to use a particular tool in a software application
  • fix a problem with a document, spreadsheet or database

Staff Development supports up to 5 hours of a coach/tutor's time. Departments are requested to pay for additional costs incurred with coaching/tutoring/troubleshooting services.
