Planning Your Career Development
Career development is a lifelong process of managing your career either within or between organizations. It involves assessing your interests, skills, and beliefs in conjunction with your present occupation, future career objectives and career/educational options, to make informed and realistic career decisions. It also entails identifying and planning the actions that will help you reach your career objectives as well as the resources and individuals that can help you along the way.
Planning your career development can help you orient your career in a direction more in tuned with your career objectives or identify advancement or career-enriching opportunities within your existing position.
