Telework

As an employer, the Yukon government is committed to developing innovative human resource policies that support employee retention and work-life balance. In July 2009, Cabinet approved a new GAM policy and guidelines outlining the criteria and rules for Teleworking. Under the new policy, eligible employees may submit a telework proposal to their supervisor. To qualify for consideration, proposals must clearly demonstrate they meet the criteria which includes "right employee, right job and right teleworkplace". 

Telework agreements are subject to approval from your supervisor, HR Director, Deputy Minister and the Deputy Ministers Human Resource Committee (DMHR).
