Representative Public Service Plan

The Representative Public Service Plans (RPSP) are diversity plans that are required by law through the land claim agreements (chapter 22).

The goal of the plans is to increase Yukon First Nation representation in the Yukon public service.

There is a corporate government-wide Representative Public Service Plan and there will be a Plan for each traditional territory.

The plans include six core strategies:

  • collaboration and relationship building
  • communication on the plans
  • monitoring and review
  • accommodation of culture
  • self-government capacity building and training and development
    employment
