Harassment Prevention Office

The Government of Yukon is committed to maintaining a work environment free of harassment, and where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.  

The Harassment Prevention Office is committed to the informal and formal resolution of harassment complaints in a fair and impartial manner.  Bargaining unit employees can file a harassment grievance and the HPO may investigate or attempt informal resolution.  Employees also have the right to file a complaint, under the Workplace Harassment Prevention and Resolution Policy [General Administration Manual (GAM) 3.47].  

The Harassment Prevention Office provides information workshops, consultations, advice and training to employees on harassment prevention and assists in resolving complaints, including investigation of complaints.
