Workplace Diversity Employment Office (WDEO)

In 2004, the Workplace Diversity Employment Office (WDEO) was created as a unit in the Public Service Commission Corporate Human Resource Services Branch to support efforts to make the Yukon public service representative of the people it serves.

The Workplace Diversity Employment Office houses two programs – Disability Services and First Nation Services, each with unique goals and objectives.

The WDEO office offers:

  • career counselling
  • resume assistance
  • on-the-job training
  • accommodation solutions
  • wage subsidies
  • manager and co-worker training
